October came and went as quickly as it always does, but this year was different for Thallo. October is one of the busiest months for Florida weddings, but this was the first year in seven that Thallo didn’t. After reflecting for the past 10 months about the future of our business, we’ve decided to officially close. Ann is currently working on new ideas and (amazing paper and signage) projects and I have started a wonderful new position at a local museum. Its the most realistic option for us at this point, although we do feel sadness to officially let go. We are both moving on, and its necessary to actually close the Thallo door so other doors open. This quote comes to mind:
All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.
Anatole France
We have one more wedding to complete as Thallo but won’t be accepting any new jobs for the future. Thanks to all of our friends in the industry. We love to watch you continue on.
Ok, lets wrap this up on a positive note! Lindsey and Shaun’s wedding at Orchid Island was featured on the national blog, Style Me Pretty! Thanks, as always, to Vitalic Photo, for submitting the photos.
